Tary Socha, Esq.Senior Appellate Counsel
Chicago native turned California local Tary Socha arrived at AppealTech as a Senior Appellate Counsel to serve as a pillar for the company’s blossoming Los Angeles office. For over 10 years, Tary has been perfecting her craft in the appellate field.
She’s advised and assisted attorneys with the preparation of varied appellate filings, including work with writ petitions, briefing, record preparation and motions in the California Courts of Appeal, California Supreme Court, the Ninth, Tenth, and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Tary received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Magna Cum Laude, from Rockford College (now known as Rockford University) in 1977. Six years later saw Tary earn her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California. Her education was immediately put to good use as Tary worked for 12 years in civil litigation practice, primarily in the insurance defense field, for a number of firms and corporations during which time she learned the ins and outs of discovery, law and motion drafting, motion appearances, trial preparation, trials and petitions for writ and appellate brief drafting.
Tary regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist her clients without a second thought, a trait that her clients value immensely.
